Going to Kutná Hora by bus

Kutná Hora isn´t connected to any main bus lines well. If you want to come to Kutná Hora by bus you must expect some necessary changes.
The line buses coming to Kutná Hora stop at several bus stops in the town and they finish at the bus station. We recommend you to get off here because it will take you about 10 minutes to walk to the centre of the town. After getting off you must walk round the Billa Hypermarket and walk along Lorecká Street up to the centre.

Going to Kutná Hora by train

Traveling to Kutná Hora by train you must known that the city has got two railways station. The Main station in on the line Prague-Brno-Bratislava and the local station on the line Kutná Hora - Zruč nad Sázavou. All train come to the Main Station witch is in a suburb (Malín) the way to the centre isn´t signed well up to know and it takes about 40 min (walk about 3 km). Going to the centre you can use MHD (city buses), taxis or train going on the line Kutná Hora Main Station - Kutná Hora City - Zruč nad Sázavou.

Going to Kutná Hora by car

It`s possible to come to K.H. form several directions (which can be seen in the map). The main ones are the roads: number 38 (Mladá Boleslav, Nymburk, Kolín, Kutná Hora, Čáslav, Havlíčkův Brod, Jihlava) and number 2 (Prague, Kostelec n. Černými lesy, Kutná Hora, Přelouč, Pradubice).
In the case of your coming along the motorway D1, the best way is to leave it at the EXIT Zruč nad Sázavou (Soutice) and continue an the direction of Zbraslavice, Stipoklasy, Kutná Hora (approx 40 min drive). In the case of coming along the motorway D11, the best way is to leave it at the EXIT Nymburk - Kolín and continue along the road number 38 in the direction of Kolín, Kutná Hora (about 30 min drive).The road number 38 doesn`t go through Kutná Hora, therefore you must turn in time!!!
After coming to Kutná Hora take the direction of the center and you had better park your car somewhere because it`s not easy to move by car in the center and there aren`t very many parking possibilities here. The nearest parking zone is in Wenceslas square.
Some more parking possibilities are mainly in smaller squares in the neighborhood (Havlíčkovo, Rejskovo, Národního odboje), but on Weekdays it`s almost not possible to park here. The best way is to park on The Central parking place near St. Barbara`s Church. This one is quite large (former army area) and the fee is quite acceptable. The way to this Central parking is signed well from all directions.

Public municipal transport

The tickets can be bought at bus drivers only.
